Flying Tigers (Republic, 1942). Australian Daybill (13" X 30").
This daybill features artwork very similar to the US one sheet; a P-40 Flying Tiger plane in full strafing attack. This was the first of many wartime films that John Wayne made to back the war effort during World War II. These films would eventually lead to Wayne receiving the Congressional Medal of Honor for his patriotism. Posters from this film have always been scarce and this W.E. Smith Litho has to be one of the prettiest. The poster shows edge wear, a chip in the right border, toning along the edges, and pinholes in the top corners. Folded, Very Fine-.
