Before the advent of the Hollywood Production Code in 1934, the industry was turning out films dealing with adultery, incest, and pre-marital sex, and the audiences loved it! In this charming pre-Code comedy, Bette Davis plays a free-spirited, self-sufficient feminist who would rather have a career as a graphic artist then get married to lover Gene Raymond. After they do get married, they wind up having affairs with other people. This amazingly beautiful poster features one of the best poster designs of the 1930s, and is absolutely one of the greatest images of the young Davis, in her slinky pre-Code gown. Heritage has never offered a copy of this very rare one sheet before - and to our knowledge - this is the only example to ever surface for auction.
