Description

The Transatlantic Tunnel (Gaumont, 1935). One Sheet (27" X 41"). Cruise ship magnates must have trembled outside the theatre staring at Richard Dix's great litho image of a man determined to connect England and the US with a tunnel! Fresh color for a vintage poster with great wispy water effects across the image. Registration, critical for lithos of this vintage is excellent. Minor centerpoint wear, and small areas of paper loss in the top center just into the image and in the corners of the borders. Fine- on Linen.
