The Black Room (Columbia, R-1955). Poster (30" X 40"). Horror. Directed by Roy William Neill. Starring Boris Karloff, Marian Marsh, Thurston Hall and Katherine de Mille. Keywords: aristocrat, revenge, brother, castle, curse, evil. 1955 re-release. The poster has a 6" U-shaped tear in the right border, extending into the art and pinholes in the borders. There is another large tear in the upper right border of the poster. There are a number of smaller tears around the border and some crimping and wear to the silk-screened image. The photo, all of the castle walls and image of the ladies is a cut out photo paste-up. The rest of the artwork is the silkscreen. Rolled, Very Good-.

This is a rolled B style half sheet with edge wear, a tear in Jane Wyman's shoulder, some small chips in the left border, staining in the lower right corner and some wrinkles in the lower left corner. Two cards have surface paper loss where tape has been removed in the borders with some residue tape stains.Two cards have corner chips and tape stains. There is some stain spotting on one card's border, one has a bottom border wrinkle and two cards have only minor top left corner bends. The color is quite good in these cards. Fine.
