Isabella Rossellini portrays a lounge singer who is repeatedly abused by ether-addicted Dennis Hopper, who has kidnapped her child, and is using him as a bargaining chip. Starring Peter Cushing and Freda Jackson and directed by Terence Fisher. This poster has had three and one quarter inches trimmed from the blank imprint area on the top. The poster was folded vertically. The poster's appearance is nice and would display beautifully. Very Good.

Cleopatra (20th Century Fox, 1962) Half Sheet (22" X 28"). Elizabeth Taylor was cast as Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt, in this epic that almost bankrupted a studio! Director Rouben Mamoulian was replaced by Joseph Mankiewicz after six days of shooting. Thus began the tumultuous battle to get this film made. This drama won five Academy Awards and turned Hollywood on its ear with the gossip that ensued about the two stars love affair and the cost overages. And $60 million dollars later, this epic nearly dragged 20th Century Fox down the Nile with Cleopatra's studio designed barge. There are the faint fold lines, edge wear, toning and surface wrinkles. Fine.
Clockwork Orange (Warner Brothers, 1971) Press Kit (Multiple Pages). This is a great kit with the binder illustrating the one sheet art. Inside the binder is "X" rated artwork by the same artist not seen elsewhere in the campaign. Also featured are folded, illustrated reviews from "Playboy," "Newsweek," and "Saturday Review." Many nice items in this unused press Kit. Fine condition with slight water staining on the front and back of the glossy binder.

This three sheet is in one piece and has minor fold wear. It has staple and pin holes spaced all around the border and several in the art. This poster is in very nice shape and we believe would be acceptable to most collectors. Very Fine-.
Dracula Has Risen From the Grave (Warner Brothers, 1969) Window Card (14" X 22"). This is a vintage, theater-used poster from this horror thriller starring Christopher Lee. Directed by Freddie Francis. This poster would be in excellent condition were it not for the fact that four holes were punched in the border area. There is a neat, day-glo stencil used in the imprint area. Fine.

This is a vintage, theater-used poster for this horror film based on the Stevenson book, that was directed by Gérard Kikoïne and stars Anthony Perkins, Glynis Barber and Sarah Maur Thorp. There is light surface wrinkles, otherwise the poster is in excellent condition. Near Mint.
The Drowning Pool (Warner Brothers, 1975) Three Sheet (41" X 81"). This is a vintage, theater-used poster from this mystery thriller. Starring Paul Newman and a very young Melanie Griffith. Directed by the same man that brought you "Cool Hand Luke," Stuart Rosenberg. This poster is folded and in two pieces as all three sheets were at this time. It has some slight fold wear and minor tape staining in upper left corner of the bottom piece. It has pinholes in all corners and some tape staining in the black field of the title which is very difficult to see. Fine/Very Fine.

Jungle Mystery (Universal, 1932) One Sheet (27" X 41"). Tom Tyler rose to stardom as a cowboy hero although he openly despised Westerns and was terrified of horses! In this 12-chapter Universal serial, Tyler had the opportunity to trade in his Stetson for a pith helmet, playing a big-game hunter in search of a buried treasure of ivory tusks. This poster is from Chapter 6 of the series entitled "Daylight Doom." Before Steven Spielberg's blockbuster hit, "Jurassic Park," Universal made this excellent low budget movie about a hidden prehistoric land inhabited by dinosaurs. Among the creatures roaming this land were pterodactyls, plesiosaurus, man-eating plants, and the ferocious T-Rex. Some of the scenes in the film are borrowed from "The Secret Land," the 1948 documentary on the Byrd Antarctic Expedition. There is slight edge wear with a few small stains, otherwise this poster is in great condition. Beautiful stone lithography. Very Fine.

Lion's Roar (MGM, 1942) Volume VIII, April 1942. This is one of the rare volumes of the famous MGM publication which was only published for several years during the war. This beautiful copy features a gorgeous Jacques Kapralik drawing of Abbott and Costello from their hit, "Rio Rita." Also featured are stories on the young Bobby Blake, 8 years old and starring in "Mokey," as well as a feature on Jeanette McDonald and Nelson Eddy in "I Married and Angel." This beautiful book is in wonderful shape with minimal binding wear. All pages intact and in Very Fine shape.
Lion's Roar (MGM, 1942) Volume XI and XII, July and August 1942. This is one of the rare and famous MGM publications. This volume pictures a Jacques Kapralik drawing of William Powell and Hedy Lamarr from their film, "Crossroads" on the cover. This publication also features stories on Tex Avery's first MGM short, "Blitz Wolf," and the Academy Award winning "Mrs. Miniver" film, as well as bios on all of the studio's up and coming stars. Cary Grant was nominated for a Best Actor Oscar for his role as a Cockney drifter, looking for love and hope in his impoverished city. The role was a radical departure from Grant's usual performances, and remains one of his best. Light wear to the edges and fold lines, otherwise this poster is in wonderful condition. Very Fine.
