Weekly Movie Poster Auction Format Change

Our Weekly Movie Poster auctions will close with a live auction on HA.com's proprietary platform, Heritage Live!, beginning with the auction that ends Sunday, April 13. Each lot will now be offered one at a time, in lot number order, in a live auction beginning at 8:00 PM CT; with live bidders on Heritage Live! competing with each other and with previously placed Internet bids. Bidders in our previous Signature auctions will recognize the format as it is the same platform utilized by live Internet bidders at the time of the auction sessions. There will be no change in how bidders place their secret maximum bids during the week the auction is open on the Heritage Auctions website. Once bidding on the Heritage website ends, 2 hours before the live session starts, bidders will still have the option to leave proxy bids through Heritage Live! All existing bids will compete with any live bidding during the Heritage Live! auction. Each lot will open, request live bids, and then close when the bidding is finished.

You will be able to get to the Heritage Live! bidding software from many pages on the website, including the home page, each lot page, the auction home page, MyBids, and MyTrackedLots. For more information about Heritage Live, please visit HA.com/live. If you have any questions regarding this exciting new development, please contact Grey Smith at 1-800-872-6467 x1367.

Nine Ways to Bid in Our Auctions

Heritage offers nine ways to bring the most collectors together to bid on your lots:

1 Bid By Internet
You can bid online in all of our upcoming Auctions. Every lot is listed with full descriptions, and most lots have high quality images. For Signature auctions, which have a live floor session component, Internet bids will be accepted until 10:00 PM CT the day before the live auction session takes place.
2 Bid By e-Mail
You can also e-mail your bids to us at Bid@HA.com. List lot numbers and bids in columns, and include your name, address, phone, customer # (if known) and dealer references, as well as a statement of your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Sale. Email bids will be accepted up to 24 hours before the live auction.
3 Bid By Postal Mail
Simply complete the Bid Sheet with your bids on the lots you want, sign it and mail it in. If yours is the high bid on any lot, we act as your representative at the auction and buy the lot as cheaply as competition permits.
4 Bid In Person
Come to the auction and view the lots in person and bid live on the floor.
5 Bid By FAX
Follow the instructions for completing your mail bid, but this time FAX it to (214) 409-1425! FAX bids will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. CT the day prior to the auction date.
6 Bid Live By Phone
Call 1-800-872-6467 Ext. 1150 and ask for phone bidding assistance at least 24 hours prior to the auction.
7 Bid Live using Heritage Live!®
Auctions designated as "Heritage Live" have continuous bidding from the time the auction is posted on our site through the live event. When normal Internet bidding ends, visit HA.com/Live and continue to place Live Proxy bids. When the item hits the auction block, you can continue to bid live against the floor and other live bidders.
8 Heritage Apps
For your Apple devices, you can download our free Heritage Mobile Catalog for the iPad or Heritage Mobile for the iPhone apps.
9 Mobile HA.com
This is an easy to-navigate, user-friendly platform for iOS, Android and other mobile device users, which lets you manage your bids and consignments no matter where you are.

* Because of the many avenues by which bids may be submitted, there is the real possibility of a tie for the high bid. In the event of a tie, Internet bidders, within their credit limit, will win by default.

Internet Bidding Tutorial
Bidding in a Heritage auction incorporates the simplicity of just setting a maximum bid, with the power of advanced options for those who want tighter control.

All payments are due immediately upon notification of amount due. A buyer's premium (which varies per auction) is charged in addition to the successful bid in all of our auctions. Terms and Conditions.
