Press Release - July 3, 2007

Over $140K Realized in June for Heritage's New

Dallas, TX: "With total prices realized of $141,574 for 883 lots offered, June saw our best Marketplace auction ever," said Jim Halperin, Co-Chairman of Dallas-based Heritage Auction Galleries, "surpassing the old record by a considerable margin, although after-auction sales are still ongoing, and are expected to push the final total even higher."

"Our monthly Marketplace auctions represent a whole new concept," said Halperin, "specifically designed to encourage collectors in one area to explore exciting new opportunities in others. With a broad range of material from comics and comic art, fine and decorative arts, political memorabilia and Americana, rare books and manuscripts, music and entertainment memorabilia, jewelry, and sports collectibles, our Marketplace auctions accept bids online at our website, www.HA.com, for approximately 30 days. After Internet bidding closes, bids are then accepted through our live bidding system, Heritage Live, at www.HA.com/Live, basically blending the length of an Internet auction with the excitement of a live auction format. It's a new type of auction that has proven very popular with our clients, as can easily be seen by results like these."

"Our current Heritage Marketplace auction will close on July 26, 2007 at 10 pm CT," Halperin said, "and I'd encourage everyone to visit www.HA.com to see full-color, enlargeable images of the lots being offered, read our informative catalog descriptions, and place their bids online. With so many fascinating pieces from so many diverse areas, there's certain to be something for everyone."
