Description:
Seed (Universal, 1931). One Sheet (27" X 41") Blue Style.
Bart Carter (John Boles) is an aspiring novelist married to Nancy (Lois Wilson), with whom he has five children in this emotional film. After a chance meeting with Mildred (Genevieve Tobin), an old flame who now happens to be the manager of the Paris division of the publisher for whom he works, Bart decides to divorce his wife and relocate to Europe. A few twists and turns later, Bart ultimately realizes he truly belongs with his family (including a very young Bette Davis in her second screen role). This beautiful stone litho one sheet is one of three styles produced. The other two styles were offered in our previous Signature sale, but this is the first time Heritage has offered this poster, which has the excellent artwork depiction of Boles, Tobin, and Wilson. Expert professional restoration has addressed pinholes and tears in the top border, chips in the right and left border, and touch-up has been applied to fold wear. Fine+ on Linen.
