Description:
Werewolf of London (Universal, 1935). Title Lobby Card (11" X 14").
This title card rivals almost any Universal horror title for rarity! It is from the studio's first jaunt into the tale of werewolves, and stars Henry Hull as the scientist cursed with the dreaded lycanthropic affliction. This gorgeous copy of the title card, which has never before been offered on the market, had a clean tear beginning in the left border and continuing up to the jawline of the large image of Hull. There were very small chips in the lower right and left corner border only and a small chip in the upper right corner border. There was a pencil mark in the image below the credits going through the image of Valerie Hobson and Warner Oland. All of these small items have been addressed through professional conservation and the card now appears in fabulous condition with vibrant original and untouched colors. Fine+.
